Rihanna and Shakira Sizzle in "Can’t Remember to Forget You" Video

Shakira's back and she's belly
dancing on walls again, this time
with Rihanna by her side. The pop
stars unveiled the stunningly
beautiful visuals for their
collaboration, "Can't Remember to
Forget You" and it's got us all
talking.
"It's very reggae and it has a lot
of the vintage feel at the same
time," The Voice coach told VEVO
News about her post-break up
confessional. "That's why I
thought that Rihanna would be the
perfect feature in this song; her
voice in this song is just unreal
because she is reggae. I don't
think I've ever heard a female
singer deliver her lines in a reggae
song with such authenticity, you
know?"
The video, which features the pop
divas lamenting about their
"selective memory" as they dance
their way through a mansion and
its outdoor pool, was directed by
Joseph Kahn, who worked with Rih
Rih and Eminem for "Love the Way
You Lie."
The song is the lead single from
Shakira's self-titled, 10th studio
album, expected Mar. 25 with
more collaborations including Ne-
Yo, "who's out of this world," she
said.
Audio for the "Can't Remember to
Forget You" was released Jan. 13,
and it has so far climbed to No.
28 on the Billboard charts.
Combine the rapidly rising chart
success with the popularity of the
single's Spanish language version
and an Instagram post of her
baby boy that garnered 2.1 million
likes, Shakira has made a return
to Billboard 's Social 50 chart,
which ranks "the most popular
artists on YouTube, Vevo,
Facebook, Twitter, SoundCloud,
Wikipedia, Myspace and
Instagram." It's her first time atop
the chart since this time last
year.
This is her first album since 2010's
Sale el Sol .
"I love proving to myself with
every album that I can still do it,"
Shakira admitted, after saying that
she "always suffers" through the
creative process. But she's
"extremely happy" with how her
album came out. "It's always
nerve-racking, it's always the
same feeling, the same butterflies
in your stomach. You never know
how your body of work is going to
be received ... [but] at the end of
the day, I feel like I have an album
that I wanted to have."
